What is the best time to visit Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, and Lake Manyara?

Serengeti Safari: Best June–October (Great Wildebeest Migration safari) and Dec–March (calving season).

  • Ngorongoro Crater Safari: Excellent year-round, wildlife always present.
  • Tarangire Safari: July–October for elephants & large herds.
  • Lake Manyara Safari: Nov–June for flamingos, birdlife & tree-climbing lions.
What is the best time to visit Zanzibar?

Perfect for a Zanzibar holiday in June–October (cool & dry) and December–February (warm & dry).

What is the best time to visit Victoria Falls (Livingstone)?
  • March–July: Falls at their most powerful.
  • August–December: Lower water, perfect for Devil’s Pool swim.
When are the best times for combined safari + beach + falls trips?
  • Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Zanzibar Safari → June–Oct & Dec–Feb
  • Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Zanzibar & Victoria Falls Tour → June–Sept

Do I need a visa for Tanzania, Zanzibar, or Zambia?
  • Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar Holiday: Yes (same visa covers both).
  • Victoria Falls Tour (Zambia): Yes – we recommend the KAZA UniVisa if visiting both Zambia & Zimbabwe.
Are flights included in safari packages?

International flights are not included. Tanzania safari packages include domestic flights (e.g., Serengeti fly-in safari or Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar).

What does “fly-in,” “game drive,” and “bush lunch” mean?
  • Fly-in Safari: Scenic small-plane flight into national parks (saves travel time).
  • Game Drive: Guided wildlife safari in a 4×4 safari jeep.
  • Bush Lunch: Picnic-style meal served in the wilderness during your safari.
Is last-minute booking possible?

Yes, last-minute safaris and Zanzibar holidays are possible, but early booking guarantees better accommodation.

What does semi-luxury, and luxury mean in safari packages?
  • Semi-luxury Safari: Mid-range tented camps or lodges with extra comfort.
  •  Luxury Safari: Exclusive lodges/camps, premium services, and top comfort.
What health requirements do I need?
  • Yellow Fever certificate (if arriving from endemic areas).
  • Recommended: Malaria prophylaxis, Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid.
What’s included in the safari price?

Accommodation, national park fees, professional safari guide, safari vehicle, meals, and domestic flights (if mentioned).

What’s not included?

International flights, visas, tips, insurance, and personal expenses.

How early should I book my safari or Zanzibar holiday?

• 6–12 months before for high season.
• 2–4 months before for low season.

During Booking

Can I customize my safari itinerary?

Yes – we design tailor-made Tanzania safari itineraries, Zanzibar packages, and Victoria Falls tours.

What types of accommodation are available?

Semi-luxury, and luxury safari lodges, tented camps, and Zanzibar beach resorts.

What payment methods do you accept?

Bank transfer, credit card, or mobile money.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, 30–40% deposit to confirm.

What if I need to cancel?

Refund depends on timing:

  • 60+ days → refund minus deposit
  • 30–60 days → 50% refund
  • Less than 30 days → non-refundable
Do you provide travel insurance?

No – we recommend comprehensive travel & safari insurance.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes – vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free, etc.

During the Safari / Trip

What should I pack for safari and Zanzibar?
  • Safari: Neutral clothes, hat, sunglasses, camera, insect repellent, light jacket.
  • Zanzibar: Swimwear, light clothes, sandals, reef-safe sunscreen, modest wear for Stone Town.
Are safaris safe?

Yes – all Tanzania safaris are safe when following guide instructions.

Will I see the Big Five?

Very likely in Serengeti & Ngorongoro Safaris. Tarangire is great for elephants; Manyara for lions & flamingos.

How long are game drives?

Usually 6–8 hours, with options for full-day safaris in Serengeti & Ngorongoro.

Do safari vehicles have Wi-Fi or charging ports?

Luxury safari vehicles may have Wi-Fi; most have charging ports.

Is Zanzibar family-friendly?

Yes – family resorts, spice tours, dolphin excursions, and cultural trips.
