On this magnificent, ten-day adventure, we have plenty of time to soak up the very best of four exhilarating locations in Tanzania’s Northern Circuit. After departing from Arusha, we divide our time between these highlights, first visiting Tarangire National Park, justifiably famous for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees. The wonders of Serengeti are next to take our attention, with a program of game-drives, letting us explore the endless plains and encountering countless wildlife along the way. We depart for another Tanzanian gem, the incomparable crater of Ngorongoro, on the lookout for a black rhino – and much more, too. Nearby, we walk down into the Empakaai Crater, smaller than Ngorongoro but still spectacular. We finally take in the excitement of popular Lake Manyara, one of our country’s more compact parks yet packed full of wildlife and with the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley as its scenic background.
